Magnolia Memory Care July Lookback
It was another good month of fun and sun here at The Magnolia Memory Care Households!
Russ Keyser kicked off the month with some energetic rock and roll along with some humor which was directly followed by our Fourth of July Picnic! We enjoyed our picnic this year out in our new pavilion. It was a beautiful day! Although it was hot, we kept cool underneath the pavilion and enjoyed some delicious hot dogs, hamburgers, and strawberry shortcake, and it was especially fun seeing all of our friends from around the facility as well as family members!
Russ Keyser wasn’t our only performer this month, we also had a lot of fun having Mike Dennehy here who plays some of our favorite classic country hits as well as giving us a killer Willie Nelson impression! Saved By Grace also paid us a visit this month and sang some beautiful faith-based songs, it always brightens up our day having them here. For our last concert this month we had Bart and Ron who sang some fantastic folk songs while playing their guitars for us, definitely a great show!
During the middle of the month we took a nice dinner trip to Davidson’s and enjoyed some tasty food as well as a fun afternoon spending time with each other!
As for games we played a lot of Bingo, which everybody loves, as well as I Spy, Ladderball, Noodle Baseball, card games, trivia out on our porch, and of course the activity our ladies especially love, manicures!
We all had a great time this month and can’t wait for what August has in store! If you have any questions or comments about upcoming activities, please contact Jordan in Activities at (716)569-3095 Ext. 6714 or email at [email protected]
